Nashville, Tenn. – The Western Michigan University women’s golf team is set to compete in the Nashville Invitational, hosted by Lipscomb University at The Hermitage Golf Course, starting Monday.

The tournament will feature a competitive 16-team field, including the host Bisons, as well as Austin Peay, Belmont, Butler, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Eastern Washington, Houston Christian, Iowa, Jacksonville, Longwood, Morehead State, North Alabama, Tennessee State, Washington State, and Western Michigan.

The event will take place on The Hermitage’s President’s Reserve course, a 6,210-yard layout known for its challenging design. Teams will play two rounds on Monday before concluding with the final round on Tuesday.

Western Michigan enters the tournament following a strong performance at the Butler Don Benbow Spring Break Invitational on March 10-11, where the Broncos secured their second consecutive title. For this week’s event, WMU will field a team consisting of Vallabhaneni, Lauren Lupinek, Isabella Brooks, Saanvi Venkatesh, and Jenna Hayes, while Kailey White will compete as an individual.

Following the Nashville Invitational, the Broncos will turn their focus to the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational, hosted by Bowling Green on April 5-6.
